willcatch ,stick with the abu's ,there isn't a closed faced reel that even come close to them ,but make sure its a earlier 500 series rather than the latter 507 goldmax ,704,1044 although they're good...

I don't believe how many people don't like the 704. I've got one and never had a problem with it. Cracking reel. Just remember it has 2 pins so you have to make sure they both retract when casting.
